The President of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN), Prof. Samuel O. Aghalino, FHSN has felicitated with Dr. Nwakocha Odigie on his promotion to the rank of Professor of History by the management of the University of Benin, Benin City. Breaking the news to all members of HSN, the president stated “I am glad to announce the promotion of Dr. Nwakocha Odigie to the rank of Professor. We thank God for His grace”. After the announcement, many other senior professors such as Profs. CBN Ogbogbo, FHSN and Okpe O. Okpe Jr, FHSN joined in celebrating Prof. Nwakocha Odigie on his new position. Other members of the society have equally celebrated Prof. Nwakocha on this new feat.
